About This Activity
In this epic painting and drawing class you will explore three prominent genres: Impressionism, Realism, and Abstraction. We’ll discuss their unique places in the history of art, look at examples of each and try our skillful hand at each type of painting. In this class you will combine painting with the use of other fine art skills such as, drawing and collage. We will work in both watercolor and acrylics, and make our mark on paper as well as canvas! You will rely on your creativity, imagination and the world around you to express yourself; after all, what is the purpose of art without a creative voice? Let's explore the vast world that paint, color and texture can offer!
