About This Activity
Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw realistically? In this class, you’ll pick up the essential skills you need to draw the world around you—and the worlds you imagine! You’ll experiment with pencil, charcoal, colored pencils, and ink as you explore a variety of drawing techniques. By the end, you’ll understand how artists turn shapes, lines, and shading into amazing, finished artwork. Melissa Dold currently teaches art at Seattle Prep and has a studio in SODO. She has a BFA from the University of Washington and an MFA from Boston University in Painting. She loves helping students learn new techniques and develop their own creative vision. *Campers enrolled in a full day of camps will have supervised lunch with activities on campus after morning session and prior to attending their afternoon session.
