This class is designed to introduce students to Collegio, which integrates the core humanities classes at Prep – History, English, and Theology. The class is team-taught by two veteran Collegio teachers who will help students learn how Collegio works and provide exposure to, and practice in, the basic skills needed for classroom success. Reading, writing, research, note-taking and test-taking will all be emphasized. Students will be required to read one common summer reading book together during the class. The book will be determined by the teachers and provided to each student on the first day of class. This book will fulfill one of their two summer reading book requirements. Students will also be asked to bring their summer reading book of choice to class. This is a great class for any incoming freshman student, regardless of their prior experience.
