This is not your everyday photography class! In this exciting alternative processing photography class you'll learn about and practice one of the oldest and safest photographic processes and produce stunning blue and white images! Together we will explore both traditional and modern methods of making exposure using the sun and UV light boxes. Printing work on paper, fabric, or maybe even a rock or a leaf, we'll see just how far our creativity can take us! You will even learn to coat and make your own light sensitive paper. Fun fact: this photographic process paved the way for what we now know as the "blue-print" and was originally used by botanists to document plants in field studies. Instructor: Zorn B. Taylor
