About This Activity
Connections is for intermediate students who are proficient on their instruments and ready to improve their musicianship. This class is very hands-on, so students should be prepared to be playing their instruments and/or singing for every session. We'll start out with some group icebreaker activities, learning easy jazz tunes by ear, focused listening, ear-training, exploring rhythmic and creative concepts, and more! PROGRAM DETAILS Dates: January 10, 2026 - March 21, 2026 Day/Time: Saturdays, 1:00-2:30 PM Location: Seattle JazzED (380 Boren Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109) TUITION We believe that every student who wants to play should get to play. That’s why we offer a variety of tuition levels for our programming. We encourage you to select the option that’s best for your family at this time. If you’re unable to pay for tuition at any level at this time, we still want you in our classes! Please click here to request a code for our no-tuition option. No questions asked. If you’re able to choose a level that is above standard tuition, your support will ensure: - Every student has access to JazzED programs, regardless of their ability to pay. - We can hire and retain local working musicians to teach our classes at livable wage in our community.
