About This Activity
This is a 10-week class for students with some beginning instrumental experience who are ready to go deeper. Students will explore improvisation, listening, rhythm, harmony, lead sheets, and ensemble playing, all while continuing to strengthen their instrumental skills. Students can enter Foundations: Jazz Fundamentals after attending Foundations Summer Camp, or if they have equivalent beginning experience.
