About This Activity

Fridays @ 1:00 - 3:00 pm
- Sessions: July 17th, 31st, August 7th, and 21st
Tuition: $25 per session
Please register for each session individually.The group focuses on jazz improvisation and learning jazz standards. Improvisation techniques and group arrangement ideas will be offered. The repertoire will include jazz music from Dixieland, New Orleans, Swing, Bebop, Bop, Post-Bop and Jazz fusion, and modern jazz. The typical format is study the melody, harmony and rhythm of each song, then apply improvisation techniques that will be offered.
