Wednesdays @ 7:30 - 8:30 pm • September 2nd and 9th
Tuition: $25
"Intro to Jazz" is an exciting opportunity for student musicians who would like to know more about jazz performance and improvisation! A (2) week open seminar, the class will feature a professional jazz combo who will demonstrate the music with (2-3) well-known jazz tunes. Each musician in the performance group will then speak on the role of their instrument in the music for 10-15 minutes. In the 2nd week, class participants will have the opportunity to join the ensemble onstage.

Who can join:
- Musicians ages 14+ that have experience with their instrument
- Musicians with a budding interest in jazz theory & improvisation
- Students should be prepared to take notes week 1
- Bring your instruments week 2
