SK8 SCHOOL is a series of skateboarding lessons for all gender youth (5-13 years) to progress their skating through community and make new friends. Along the way, skaters will make new friends, learn life skills through our SHRED curriculum, and connect with caring staff and volunteers! The program is for all skill levels, whether you’ve never stepped on a board before or you’ve been skating for years. We ask that families try to commit to all 5 skate sessions. This allows our young people to build upon their skating & themes each week, plus develop deeper relationships with their coaches and peers. It is totally okay if a skater cannot make all the date offerings, we would ask that you just take this into consideration before registering. NOTE: We are not able to offer make up classes or refunds for any missed sessions. If there is a class cancellation due to staff illness or weather/air quality or other form of natural disaster we will refund or credit families the remaining classes. GEAR NOTE: we will have free loaner gear on site for any participants to borrow during programs, including helmets, pads, and skateboards. You do not need to request gear in advance.
