About This Activity
In this class students will draw inspiration from the natural world to study proportions, anatomy, form, and texture while learning the basics of MIG welding and other key tools in the metal shop. Our emphasis will be on safety and building confidence while learning new skills. Students can expect to use hand and power tools to cut, file, bend, sand, and join steel, and to create their own steel critter to take home. Teaching Artist: Eugene Kemper
