We're sorry, but this session is over. The last session end day was Jun 9, 2021 6:00 PM
The Y's before and after school child care programs are provided for children in 6th through 8th grades during the hours when there may be no supervision in the home. The program is conducted by trained YMCA staff that serve as positive role models. Our staff will engage with your children in healthy activities that focus on the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. While we can't predict all the ways things will be different this school year, one thing is certain: kids that attend the Y will have fun, get exercise, and feel well-cared for -- as always! We will be offering our school age programs with enhanced health procedures that are aligned with the information and guidelines we receive from the CDC, State of Florida, and local governments, to help protect participants, parents, and Y team members. ANNUAL REGISTRATION: Registration for the YMCA’s before and after care program are ANNUAL registrations (August-May) to ensure your child has a spot in their program for all weeks of the school year. Parents are able to cancel their child’s enrollment at any time with a week’s notice. Re-enrollment is not guaranteed to previous participants and is possible on a first come first serve basis should spaces be available. Holiday/Break care is prioritized for those enrolled in the program. Those seeking only holiday/break week registrations will be approved on a case by case basis, and only if capacity allows. For more information please contact email@example.com. ONLINE: Registration is online. Parents will be asked to review and sign the licensing paperwork at the site on their child's first day. Please allow extra time on your child's first day to sign these required forms. PLEASE NOTE: In order to ensure the correct licensing forms and information are at the site on your child's first day, ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ENROLLED ONLINE PRIOR TO ATTENDANCE. Children will not be able to attend programing until the online registration is complete, and registration forms will no longer be accepted on the first day of attendance. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION: Participants MUST BE ENROLLED by THURSDAY of the week PRIOR TO which they plan to attend in order to start on Monday. Those enrolled after Thursday will not be registered or able to attend until the following Monday due to licensing requirements. VACATION WEEKS: Parents have the flexibility to choose which weeks they use their vacation! Whether you choose to use them during school holidays (Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break) or other weeks that you need to take a break, it's your choice! Participants receive up to 4 weeks a school year** to use as needed per the vacation week policy. *Vacation weeks apply to eligible plans. Grant and subsidy recipients must adhere to the requirements of the grant or subsidy to which they receive. **Participants may receive no more than 4 weeks total in the given school year, including reenrollment.
