Musical Theatre - Once Upon a MattressIntermediate (Ages 10-18*)Students at this level should have at least 3 years of experience singing and dancing onstage and in formal rehearsal settings. We will continue building on existing performance skills throughout the session, culminating in a 45–75 minute onstage performance.
This is a focused training level where students are expected to arrive prepared, stay engaged, and consistently practice material outside of class. Regular at-home review will be essential to keep pace as choreography, music, and staging are developed quickly each week.
All students must be fully registered prior to auditions and the first class date. Placement auditions and a mandatory parent meeting will take place on the first class date, and attendance is required for all participants. Please do not register if you are unable to attend all required dates and times.
Registration guarantees a role in the production; however, auditions are used to determine individual casting and role assignments. Approximately one week before classes begin, families will receive an email with class information and an audition packet with materials to prepare in advance.
With the exception of Broadway Kids, students may not be called for the full duration of each rehearsal session. Every student is guaranteed a minimum of one hour of instruction per meeting date.
Registration includes a $77 non-refundable production fee.
