About This Activity
Sew Much Fun: Beginning Sewing - In this beginner-friendly sewing class, campers will learn the fundamentals of machine sewing while creating their own custom pillowcase. Students will practice basic skills such as threading a sewing machine, sewing straight seams, pinning fabric, and pressing. No previous sewing experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and create! By the end of the class, each student will take home a colorful pillowcase they made themselves. Participants will need to purchase a small amount of material to use for their project. Exact information will be emailed to parents after registration. Teachers: Brenda Raymond and Julie Siebrandt are excited to share their love of sewing with students!
