About This Activity

Let your child’s creativity take shape in this hands-on class that introduces the fundamentals of woodworking in a safe and engaging environment. Campers will learn how to use basic hand tools, measure and cut wood, and assemble their own projects—all while developing problem-solving skills, patience, and confidence. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, each student will build a planter and a napkin holder. Teacher: Luke Wegman has over 10 years of experience competing in woodworking through 4H. He attends the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
