About This Activity
Blast off with Rocket Blast! In Rocket Blast, we will build a reusable model rocket and blast it high into the sky! As we build our rockets, we will learn about the physics of rocketry, aerodynamics, Newton’s Laws, model rocketry safety and the chemical reaction that causes our rocket engines to burn and produce thrust. We will also talk about careers in the space industry and learn what it takes to work at NASA or Space X! Teacher: Adam Janda - Music teacher at Seward Elementary and Lego Robotics and Rocketry Teacher at the Bright Lights program in Lincoln.
