About This Activity
Instructor: Rina Heavner, Sewickley Academy Grade 1 Teacher The transition from Kindergarten to First Grade is an exciting milestone for any child. As they step into "big school", they'll embrace a longer school day, start receiving homework, and take on new levels of independence. To help your child feel confident and prepared, we've designed the Jumpstart Grade One program. Each day is thoughtfully structured to mirror a typical school routine while introducing and reinforcing the essential skills needed for success in First Grade and beyond. Please pack a light snack and a water bottle to keep your child fueled for this exciting journey!
