About This Activity
Instructor: Jessica Hecht & Stephanie Blain, Sewickley Academy Middle School English Teachers Sharpen your pencils and power up your skills! Get ready for next year with a focused review of key middle school English and language arts concepts. Campers will strengthen their reading comprehension, explore active reading strategies, practice the writing process, review grammar essentials, and expand their vocabulary. Through a variety of hands-on activities designed for all learning styles, campers will build confidence, reinforce fundamental skills, and be fully prepared to hit the ground running in English. This is the perfect opportunity to refresh your skills and start the school year strong! We encourage all campers to pack a nutritious snack and a refillable water bottle each day of camp.
