About This Activity
Instructor: Lexi Shazer, Sewickley Academy Grade 4 Teacher Does your child love creating, selling, or sharing ideas? Kidpreneurs in Action is a fun, hands-on summer program that introduces campers to the basics of business, money management, and communication - all in an age-appropriate and engaging way! Throughout the week, campers will work individually and in small teams to design their own business, create a product or service, and learn how entrepreneurs turn ideas into reality. During your camper's time in our program, they will learn how to budget and understand costs, turn ideas into a clear business plan, write advertisements and pitching ideas, use math to make smart business decisions, and collaborate with campers and present their findings. This program builds confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills while reinforcing math and writing in a meaningful, real-world context. No prior experience needed - just curiosity and enthusiasm! We encourage all campers to pack a nutritious snack and a refillable water bottle each day of camp.
