About This Activity
Instructor: Bradleigh Peterkin, Learning Specialist Reads and Beads is a creative summer program designed for 4th - 5th graders who love reading and hands-on fun! Camper will enjoy dedicated time each day to read a book of their choice, building independence and a love of reading at their own pace. Through engaging literacy and comprehension activities, students will explore characters, plots, and ideas in meaningful ways. Each session wraps up with a craft inspired by what they've read, allowing campers to express their understanding creatively while strengthening the connection between reading and imagination. We encourage all campers to pack a nutritious snack and a refillable water bottle each day of camp.
