About This Activity
In this fun, interactive class, students will learn the basics of American Sign Language (ASL) and explore deaf culture. Each week, students will dive into new topics such as greetings, fingerspelling, family members, emotions, colors, animals, and introducing themselves and their interests. At the end of the class, students will show what they’ve learned by signing a book together as a class! Led by HB Upper School Learning Specialist Rebecca Shepherd, who is fluent in ASL. No Class on Monday, October 12.
