Students will develop the computational thinking practices of algorithm development, problem-solving, and programming within the context of problems that are relevant to the lives of today’s students. Students will also be introduced to topics such as interface design, limits of computers, and societal and ethical issues. Students are evaluated on participation, projects, and quizzes. Completes HB graduation requirement. Summer Studies are full and partial-credit courses that provide an optimum learning experience for high school students from independent, private, and public schools. All full day camps include hot lunch! Attendance Policy: Attendance at all course meetings is mandatory due to the condensed nature of summer school courses. Missing a day of summer school class is the equivalent of missing a week of classes during the school year. Credit will not be given to students who miss summer school classes.
