About This Activity
HBTI provides students with an immersive environment where they can explore drama, dance, and voice, helping them discover their artistic voice. The program fosters a positive, process-oriented atmosphere where students can learn, share, experiment, and grow. In addition to the valuable skills in theatre, the experience boosts self-confidence, enhances social skills, and opens up a world of new ideas and possibilities. Students will also have the exciting opportunity to perform in a fully produced final musical, showcasing their growth throughout the program. With the transition to two sessions—each lasting four weeks—participants will have even more time to dive deeper into their craft and work closely with professional artists in the field. Children who are not interested in participating in the culminating musical will have the option to take more in depth actor training sessions. This extended format offers a richer experience for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the world of theatre. Prime (rising 1st - 3rd grade), Intermediate (rising 4th - 6th grade) and Advanced (rising 7th grade and up) programming will be available each session. All students are encouraged to audition for the final musical performance! Before and After Care are available through grade eight.
