Entrepreneurship with Robotics: Build Your Business, 9 AM - 12 PM Become a young inventor and start your own robot company! Design helpful robots using cardboard, tape, markers, and craft supplies—create cleaning bots, delivery robots, pet helpers, or your own invention! Give your company a name, design a logo, and learn what makes a great business idea. Build colorful prototypes, create posters, and practice your pitch. Present your robot business to classmates at our Inventor Showcase and explain how your robot helps people. Learn teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving while building the future—one cardboard robot at a time! Students grouped into K to 2, 3 to 4, and 5 to 6 cohorts with age appropriate builds and challenges Supervised Lunch from 12 PM - 1 PM Roblox Gaming Adventure: Design & Code, 1 PM - 4 PM Game Design with ScratchJr: Ages 4-6 Get ready for a fun-filled journey into the world of coding and creativity! In this exciting camp designed for PK-1st learners, your little tech enthusiasts will dive into the basics of coding through ScratchJr—an easy-to-use app that lets them bring their imaginations to life. Through interactive storytelling and animations, they’ll create their own characters, adventures, and games, all while learning problem-solving and critical thinking skills. It’s the perfect introduction to coding, packed with fun and adventure! Roblox Game Design: Ages 7-13 Design games that others will play! Young creators will learn basic game design principles, sketch their ideas, and build simple Roblox games. This camp balances game time (learning from existing games) with creation time. Kids will present their finished games to classmates and see others play their creations—powerful motivation! We encourage students to bring their own tablet or laptop so they can keep practicing at home. If they don’t have one, we’re happy to lend a device. *Tuition fees are inclusive of the 10.5% Shoreline sales tax.
