Turn your summer into an unforgettable piano adventure!
PianoFest is a weeklong musical experience for advanced piano students. Daily lessons from the Levine faculty, masterclasses and seminars with guest artists, ensemble and solo performances, as well as exploring the food and classical music scene of the Nation’s Capital. Teacher's recommendation is required. Non-Levine students will be asked to submit a sample video.
PianoFest Schedule:
9:00am-12:30pm: Optional field trip (National Gallery, National Museum of American History, Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap)
1:00-1:30pm: Group technique class
1:30-4:30pm: Lessons, ensemble rehearsals, coaching
4:30-5:30pm: Snack break
5:30-6:30pm: Practice, sight reading class
6:30-8:00pm: Concert/presentation by guest artist
Enrollment Deadline: June 1, 2024
Repertoire requirement: 2-3 solo pieces and one ensemble work (assigned by June 15)
Tuition: $950 for non-Levine student, $750 for Levine student
