SR Acting (Fall) Thursdays, 5:30-6:45pm (IN-PERSON) Instructor: LISA NATHANS, Associate Professor of Voice and Acting at the University of Maryland’s School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies 75 minutes of instruction for 10 weeks September 17, 24 October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November 5, 19 December 3 No classes on November 12 or 26 Tuition: $375 for TEN 75-minute classes Minimum enrollment: 5 students Description: Over a series of ten classes, students in grades 9-12 will explore how to create dynamic characters through acting techniques, including Viewpoints and Laban Movement Analysis. Attire: Appropriate acting/movement attire includes yoga pants, sweats, t-shirts, tank tops, etc.
