Description
With the Slinger & the Hartford Police Departments
This program is designed to get kids hooked on fishing rather than drugs and crime. This outings’ purpose is to teach kids how to fish and also to challenge and teach them the meaning of teamwork, integrity and respect for others. The outing will be at the Hartford Mill Pond. Each child will receive a t-shirt. After fishing we will meet back for snack and refreshments. We will meet at the Mill Pond Shelter in Hartford Centennial Park. At the corner of Grand Ave. and Wisconsin St.
The bait will be supplied. There will be limited equipment available for use, but we do recommend that you bring your own fishing gear. All fish caught will be released.
