Description
With the Slinger & the Hartford Police Departments
This initiative aims to engage children in fishing instead of drugs and crime. The outing focuses on teaching kids the art of fishing while instilling values such as teamwork, integrity, and respect for others. After the fishing activities, participants will enjoy snacks and refreshments.
- Bait will be provided
- There is limited equipment available for use, we encourage you to bring your own fishing gear.
- All caught fish will be released back into the water.
- Each child will receive a complimentary t-shirt.
- We will meet at the Mill Pond Shelter in Hartford Centennial Park. At the corner of Grand Ave. and Wisconsin St.
