About This Activity

Interested in our Instructor in Training classes but not sure if you’re there yet? This is a condensed version of those courses. The camp will dive into must-know skills for leading the pack. Get ready to ride and explore by learning skills such as: how to perform bike safety checks, plan epic rides, keep the group vibes high on the trail, staying safe, mastering group teamwork like a pro, and handling any bumps along the way (even bike crashes!) with total coolness. Let's hit the trails and ride like leaders. The curriculum will be age-appropriate, and kids will be split into different age groups. Who This Is For: • Youth Ages 10-13 • Skill Level: Beginner bridging to Intermediate. • Riders interested in learning leadership and communication skills. • Perfect for kids who want to be leaders /assistant captains / captains on their respective athletic teams. Highlights: • Day 1: Introduction to Mountain Biking and Short Group Ride • Day 2: Skills Development and Safety Checks • Day 3: Leadership and Communication Skills and Group Ride Gear up for an unforgettable adventure at Mountain Bike Adventure Leaders Camp! • Bikes: A Bike is needed, but your child does not need to own their own bike. Campers can rent a suitable bike from The Line. If Campers are bringing their own bike, it needs to be in safe working order. Please bring the bike into the Line prior to the camp for a complimentary safety check. • Gear Up: Mountain Bike, helmet, sunglasses, protective gear, snacks, weather appropriate active clothing. • Campers should bring snacks and a water bottle. We will provide snacks and a water jug to refill bottles.
