About This Activity
Music Camp is designed for kids who have had at least one year of formal music education and are interested in expanding their music education as well as participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, boating, and campfires. Each day will be filled with practice sessions, lessons, and classic summer camp activities. Campers will be assigned to musical ensembles based on skill level, interest and music director discretion Ensembles include concert band, choir, and jazz. This program will be lead by the Bella Vista High School Music Directors Amanda Lopes and Santiago Santee. This is a 6 day/5 night program which will culminate with a concert at Camp Winthers on Friday night. Parents will be invited to the concert; families can choose to drive their child home after the concert or the kids can stay for the All-Camp Dance and ride the bus home on Saturday morning. Music in the Sierra is an unforgettable experience your kids will cherish for a lifetime.
