Ages 7-8 Meets: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Our GROMs option serves participants aged 7-8 years old. This is an introductory program with a focus on beach and ocean safety, basic ocean swimming techniques, basic first aid, team building activities, wave riding (body surfing, body boarding, surfing) basic lifeguard rescue techniques, physical fitness, and of course, FUN!
Please take a note of our REFUND POLICY FOR 2026
Refund requests will be accepted (all requests must be in writing) from date of purchase/registration to 30 calendar days before the scheduled session begins. A written request received inside this timeline will receive a full refund, minus the $50.00 cancellation fee per request.
If the refund is received within 29 days of the start date of the session, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
The dates listed below will be the last day to receive a refund for the listed SBJG Session:
Junior Lifeguards 1A/1P and Groms 1A/1P ----- Saturday, May 9th, 2026
Junior Lifeguards 2A/2P and Groms 2A/2P ----- Saturday, May 23rd, 2026
Junior Lifeguards 3A/3P and Groms 3A/3P ----- Saturday, June 6th, 2026
Junior Lifeguards 4A/4P and Groms 4A/4P ----- Saturday, June 20th, 2026
THIS CANCELLATION POLICY WILL BE IMPOSED ON ALL REFUND REQUESTS RECEIVED BY THE SOLANA BEACH JUNIOR LIFEGUARD PROGRAM. The City of Solana Beach may make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
