Course Description: Have you ever wanted to make your own adorable stuffed animals? In Crochet Critters Club, students will learn the fundamentals of crochet while creating fun, beginner-friendly amigurumi (crocheted stuffed animals). Throughout the course, students will learn how to hold a crochet hook, read simple patterns, create basic stitches, shape projects, and sew pieces together to bring their creations to life. No prior crochet experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and have fun! By the end of the club, students will have completed a small stuffed animal and developed a relaxing hobby that they can enjoy for years to come. Along the way, students will build patience, creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence while making handmade creations they can proudly keep or give as gifts. Instructor: Ms. Wester Instructor Bio: Hello! My name is Ms. Wester, and I teach science. When I'm not in the classroom exploring the wonders of science, I love spending my free time crocheting. Over the past several years, I have built and run a successful crochet business, creating handmade stuffed animals, gifts, and custom orders. I enjoy sharing this creative hobby with others and helping beginners discover that anyone can learn to crochet with a little patience and practice. I'm excited to teach students a new skill while encouraging creativity, perseverance, and confidence through every stitch!
