About This Activity
Course Description- Math tutoring from an actual mathematician! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and several years of teaching experience, and will work one-on-one with students to help them excel! Instructor- Randy Faw Instructor Mini-Bio- I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Cal State East Bay where I received an award for excellence in mathematics. I have many years of one-on-one, small group, and full classroom instruction experience. While going to junior college, I worked at the tutorial center, tutoring groups of 1-3 students. I worked at the College of Alameda, tutoring students with diagnosed learning disabilities in both math and English. I worked for Mobile Minds Tutoring, travelling around the Bay Area to tutor students from Kindergarten to High School level. Finally, I spent several years teaching High School algebra and geometry at Arroyo High and San Lorenzo High.
