Grades 4-5. Elementary School Sports is a fun and welcoming sports program for elementary-aged kids, regardless of skill or ability. During the six-week track and field season, young athletes build skills, grow confidence, and learn to be part of a team. Coaches will focus on teamwork, communication, and good conduct while introducing the fundamentals of running, jumping, and throwing in a supportive, recreational environment. Teams practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at their elementary schools. Participants will wear a team jersey to represent their school in three track meets with the other elementary schools. Transportation to meets is not provided. There are no practices on no-school days.
Program dates: 04/26/27 - 06/3/27
Practice location: Riverbend Elementary (immediately after school).
Practice schedule: Mondays/Wednesdays, 3-4PM meet in gym (no programming on no school days).
District Meet Schedule - TBD
Expect welcome information emailed the week prior to the program start date.
