Code Dash & Dot robots- two friendly bots that love to complete missions. Experiment with measurement, sensors, and tons of abilities to achieve awards throughout our session. Get creative with robot dance parties and fashion shows. Create music with Dash’s xylophone. Draw with the robot’s marker attachment. Even shoot some hoops with the launcher! There are so many fun possibilities with these robots! Campers will learn and practice coding concepts through each coding language compatible with Dash & Dot Robots: Path, Wonder, Blockly, and Swift. Our main focus will be in using a block-based coding language called Blockly. This is a visual coding language that is rooted in Javascript code. Beginning coders will become proficient in the Blockly language as they learn the fundamentals of coding: sequences, algorithms, loops, events, conditionals, functions, and variables. Kid coders should bring headphones and their own devices with the Kahoot app and all apps listed here: https://www.makewonder.com/en/compatibility/ downloaded.
