About This Activity
Get ready to build, design, and code! Game Developer Camp introduces campers to the creative world of game design using age-appropriate tools and real-world programming logic. Each day, campers will explore a new challenge—from creating their own platformer to writing their own creations using unplugged code. In addition to digital game creation, we explore the history of games, tabletop games and the psychology of gaming. Students work to create their own tabletop games throughout the week! This camp is perfect for both aspiring coders and creative thinkers who want to bring their wildest game ideas to life! Through interactive lessons, problem-solving games, and hands-on coding, kids will leave with a strong foundation in how games are made—and the skills to keep building more! Our camps are 8am-3pm. Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. Each camper receives one free camp t-shirt with each week of registration - order as many extras as you want at checkout!
