Description
The end of the school year is near! Each center’s individual Teen Council’s have come together to form what we know as Mayor’s Youth Council. You’ve met with Mayor Welch and his wonderful staff, toured City Hall, and had a great group of your peers attend the Florida League of Cities Annual Teen Conference that represented the Mayor’s Youth Congress proudly. Your assignment this time is to “Pat Yourself on the Back”. This is where you will reflect on this school year’s goals and accomplishments by your respective centers. Describe community service projects, cool and exciting field trips, all recognitions, and any other special events that your teen councils may have hosted or participated in while highlighting the one that you are most proud of. Explain the goals and accomplishments that your teen council set and achieved through creative planning and awesome teamwork. To put a bow tie on the end of this assignment, describe the ideal summer camp that occurs at your center. Who has the most awesome summer plans at their center? Who has the most unique field trips and special events happening at their center? This assignment can be presented orally, by power point, or a creative video, or even Canva!
