About This Activity

Description

Take your ballet training to new heights with the Pinellas Studio of Dance’s ballet pointe class, designed for dancers ready to develop strength, technique, and artistry on pointe. This specialized class focuses on building the necessary foot, ankle, and leg strength to safely perform pointe work.
Under the guidance of expert instructors, students will work on proper alignment, balance, control, and graceful movements while learning pointe-specific exercises and choreography. This class emphasizes discipline, focus, and precision to prepare dancers for advanced ballet performance.
Ideal for intermediate to advanced dancers who have a strong ballet foundation and have been approved to begin pointe work.
Please fill out this form as accurately as possible for new and returning dancers.
Class Dress Code
  • Leotard (any color)
  • Ballet tights (pink or skin tone)
  • Ballet shoes (pink)
  • Hair must be secured in a bun or neatly pulled back
  • No jewelry or accessories allowed
  • Optional: Ballet skirt or shorts
  • Please note: Costumes are not permitted during class
