About This Activity
Algebra 1 is the first year in a three-year college preparatory math sequence. Algebra 1 focuses on the structure of the real number system. This course examines symbolic representations in solving real-world problems. Linear, quadratic systems of equations and problem-solving are investigated. Graphing is an integral part of this course as a means of displaying and analyzing data in one or two dimensions. Review is built into every section and unit of study.
