This after-school club is designed for students who are brand-new to coding or have only a little experience. We will use Scratch to explore the basics of programming through simple, fun, and creative projects. Students will learn how to create animations, stories, and mini-games while practicing problem-solving and logical thinking. Each session will include step-by-step demonstrations, guided practice, and plenty of time for students to experiment on their own. By the end of the spring semester, students will have a small collection of completed projects and a stronger confidence in understanding how coding works. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to try! The club is run by YSCP Teacher Ms. Zhao!
