About This Activity
Biography: Carol Pharo has degrees in music from Penn State, New England Conservatory, and diplomas in music and dance from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Ms. Pharo has over thirty years of experience teaching theatre and dance for children in the USA and in The Netherlands. Many of her productions include original compositions. Vocal Performance Club, grades K-8: Vocal exercises and literature chosen according to the age and skill of the students. Bel canto singing is emphasized with songs from folk and classical traditions and ‘The Golden Age’ of Broadway musicals.
