About This Activity

An Introduction to Kinesiology is an after-school elective offered on Wednesdays that invites students to explore how their bodies move through the lens of science. Through hands-on activities, simple experiments, and movement-based challenges, students will investigate forces such as balance, gravity, motion, and energy while learning basic concepts of kinesiology. Students will analyze everyday movements like jumping, throwing, and running to understand how muscles, joints, and physics work together. This elective encourages curiosity, teamwork, and active learning while building foundational STEM skills in a fun and engaging way. The club is run by our 3rd Grade Teacher Ms. Haar!
