About This Activity
From snow melting off the ski hill down to water running past Dinosaur Bones, the Yampa is an amazing river that defines the landscape of Northwestern CO. Join us on an expedition to learn about the impact it has on the lives of those who are living and those who have lived in the Yampa Valley. We will get to see the Yampa in several different places along its course as well as investigate the health of the river just like scientists do! On Tuesday we will get to go rafting with Colorado Mountain College and Friends of the Yampa! Our Routt Finders will have their Overnight at Steamboat Lake State Park on Thursday night! Dinner, dessert, and breakfast are provided. Pick up on Friday is at noon.
