CLASS DESCRIPTION Stories leap off the page in this immersive literature-and-art camp! Each day begins with beloved picture books that spark discussion, imagination, and creative interpretation. Campers will explore watercolor, collage, wire sculpture, weaving, pop art, and more as they transform stories into hands-on masterpieces. Through storytelling, guided art instruction, and a special Story Walk experience, students build literacy connections, artistic skills, and confidence in sharing their ideas. Pair with Color Splash Studio camp for a full day of creative fun! TEACHER Hannah Gottschalk CANCELLATION POLICY Before May 21st: refunds can be given for cancellations minus a non-refundable $35.00 administration fee. After May 21st: no refunds will be given for cancellations. You may transfer your young artist to another Young At Art Camp, in the same season, for no cost (unless there are additional camp fees) as long as there is space and the transfer request is made in writing 14 days prior to the start date of camp. Each camper is allowed up to 2 free transfers per summer. To submit your request in writing please email: programs@steamboatcreates.org Steamboat Creates does not allow transfers from Summer Camp to our School Day Out programming at this time. Steamboat Creates does not refund or prorate camps for limited attendance. Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason, including workshops that do not meet the minimum registration requirements, or canceling a workshop due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a workshop, registrants will be given a full refund.
