CLASS DESCRIPTION Explore and understand emotions through fun, hands-on activities. Led by a school psychologist, the camp will help kids learn to identify and manage feelings through creative expression. Activities include creating "feeling faces" and pairing colors with emotions, making stress-relief tools like putty or stress balls, and collaborative art projects that promote social skills and flexibility. Campers will also explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and learn strategies for dealing with anger, sadness, fear, and worry. Each day combines art, movement, and social activities to build emotional regulation skills and strengthen peer interactions in a supportive, creative environment.
