CAMP DESCRIPTION Get ready for a week of explosive experiments and mind-blowing discoveries! Campers will dive into chemistry by creating fizzing reactions, stretchy slime, and erupting volcanoes, then explore physics through catapult challenges, and egg-drop engineering. They'll journey into earth science, build circuits to light up LEDs, and even harness the power of magnets and static electricity. The week wraps up with a science celebration, where kids put their new skills to the test in fun challenges—because learning is all about curiosity, creativity, and excitement! TEACHER Teri Whitbeck CANCELLATION POLICY Before May 21st: refunds can be given for cancellations minus a non-refundable $35.00 administration fee. After May 21st: no refunds will be given for cancellations. You may transfer your young artist to another Young At Art Camp, in the same season, for no cost (unless there are additional camp fees) as long as there is space and the transfer request is made in writing 14 days prior to the start date of camp. Each camper is allowed up to 2 free transfers per summer. To submit your request in writing please email: programs@steamboatcreates.org Steamboat Creates does not allow transfers from Summer Camp to our School Day Out programming at this time. Steamboat Creates does not refund or prorate camps for limited attendance. Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason, including workshops that do not meet the minimum registration requirements, or canceling a workshop due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a workshop, registrants will be given a full refund.
