CLASS DESCRIPTION Take your fabric design skills to the next level in this advanced dyeing studio! Campers will learn intricate techniques inspired by Japanese Shibori, experiment with ombré effects, and master precision folding and binding methods to create detailed patterns. With a focus on craftsmanship and thoughtful design, students transform fabric into bold, wearable works of art. Campers leave with finished pieces and refined textile skills. (Please note: An additional material fee will be applied at checkout.) Pair with Slime Time camp for a full day of creative fun! TEACHER Tony Urbick CANCELLATION POLICY Before May 21st: refunds can be given for cancellations minus a non-refundable $35.00 administration fee. After May 21st: no refunds will be given for cancellations. You may transfer your young artist to another Young At Art Camp, in the same season, for no cost (unless there are additional camp fees) as long as there is space and the transfer request is made in writing 14 days prior to the start date of camp. Each camper is allowed up to 2 free transfers per summer. To submit your request in writing please email: programs@steamboatcreates.org Steamboat Creates does not allow transfers from Summer Camp to our School Day Out programming at this time. Steamboat Creates does not refund or prorate camps for limited attendance. Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop for any reason, including workshops that do not meet the minimum registration requirements, or canceling a workshop due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a workshop, registrants will be given a full refund.
