Description
HOTSPOT Hangout is a FREE outside of school time program for 8th grade students , providing a fun, safe and supportive place where teens can check-in daily, Tuesday through Thursday all year long.Programming takes on self-driven, interest-based approach engaging teens from our community to explore their unique gifts, skills, and abilities through various forms of recreation programming. Focus is placed on supporting teens in a safe, supportive environment to accomplish goals individually and collaboratively through peer-to-peer relationships, health and wellness, art, special events, and social engagement.
Program Dates - November 4- November 20 from 4:00pm-7:00pm - Tuesday - Thursday. *Does not include holiday breaks*.
Transportation will be provided to East Central DeKalb Community Center from Freedom Middle School Only.
Cost: Free - Must be registered to attend. Additional paperwork required.
