About This Activity
Taught by Zoo educators, classes include hands-on activities, discussion, animal encounters and behind-the-scenes experiences. Each program includes progressive program topics focused on teaching students about working with Zoo animals and what paths to take in order to work at the Zoo one day! When people think of the mission or purpose of a Zoo, they will often think of Education or Conservation but what is also included is Research! In today’s class we are going to find out just what kinds of research happens in Zoos! Please note, this standalone session is in-person and held on-site at the zoo. Parent/guardian attendance is not permitted.
