About This Activity
Level: Beginner Building upon foundational skills learned in Taste of Optis, this program allows students to get a “second taste”. This week-long program reinforces comfort on the water through hands-on learning experiences. Practice sailing lingo, rigging, and controlling the Optimist Trainer as instructors guide students into sailing on their own. In order to gain confidence on the water, practice is important. Students are encouraged to participate in this class for multiple weeks before continuing to a higher-level program. Recommended Next Classes: -Repeat Second Taste of Optis -Opti Intermediate
