Give fabric scraps a second life through the beautiful traditions of quilting & Sashiko. This hands-on workshop introduces basic quilting techniques as well as basic Sashiko — a traditional method used to reinforce, patch, and decorate clothing using simple running stitches arranged in geometric patterns, while also learning basic quilting techniques. Participants will be introduced to a variety of decorative stitches. No sewing experience is needed. All tools and materials are provided, and participants will leave with a set of 4 quilted coasters. Workshop includes light bites & beverages.
